ABOUT OUR OLIVEROOM

Olive Room is situated close to UKZN, Howard College Campus and Durban's medical precinct and centrally situated for many business people. We are minutes away from the Nelson.R. Mandela School of Medicine and hospitals close by are Inkosi Albert Luthuli. King Edward VIII, Entabeni and St Augustine.

Oliveroom offers a quiet and peaceful stay with safe parking for business people as we are centrally situated we are very close to the STC-SA Durban Campus for seafarers, also for longer stays for medical academics, researchers and shorter stays for students writing exams, external examiners and visiting parents. We are ideally situated for those visiting hospitals, including Inkosi Albert Luthuli, King Edward Viii, Life Entabeni. The suites have private entrances, with a desk, fridge, microwave and a kettle as well as basic crockery. Big windows overlook a private, sub-tropical garden with indigenous bird life.

The guest house offers accommodation in a choice of 4 spacious bedrooms. each with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The bedrooms are furnished with either twin or double beds, and a desk. The rooms are equipped with a fridge, microwave, iron, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and a TV with M-Net and selected DStv channels. The suites are furnished with antique and eclectic furniture and have private entrances and open onto a sub-tropical garden.

Prepayments

Since we work on a first pay first serve basis a 50% of the total price charged as deposit at reservation to confirm the booking.
The remaining 50% is required at check-in.

Cancellation Policy

3+ Months notice = 100% refund
1-2 Months = 50% refund
Under 1 month = no refund and you are responsible for the full booking amount.

Extra Guests

If you have an extra guest we need prior notification and the applicable rate will be charged and must be paid before the stay.
A guest visiting in your room is treated as a paying guest like yourself - please use area allocated for visitors when having a short stay guest for half an hour during daytime.

Parking

We have only one normal parking per room, and so we cannot accomodate multiple cars per room
If you need multiple parking spaces, we will need prior notification.
